Industry Codes

NAICS is the standard used by Federal statistical agencies in classifying business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing statistical data related to the U.S. business economy. Use this website to search for codes, get the latest information on NAICS revisions, and access reference files and tools.

Originally developed in the mid-1980s, this system has been supplanted by NAICS codes, but are still used as indexing identifiers for businesses.
